Water Department

The Village of Germantown residents and businesses are provided water by a municipality-owned system. The current population served by this system is approximately 4,916 or about 1,863 individual service taps.

Holds a Class One Water Treatment License
Also an Operational Lab Certificate
Responsibility: Water treatment, Distribution maintenance, Customer Service, Department purchasing, Electronic maintenance Record keeping, Planning, Inspections, Swimming pool Maintenance, Vehicle maintenance, Sanitary sewer lines Collection maintenance, and Equipment operator.

Toni Lewis,
Utility Billing Clerk
Responsibility: Customer service, Billing/Collections, Meter reader supervisor, Book keeping/Records, Other clerical duties to include assisting in the tax department.

Ralph F. Tidd, Sr.
Laboratory Technician
Holds an Operational Lab Certificate
Responsibility: Laboratory operations/Sample collection, Crew leader on Distribution maintenance, Record keeping, Customer service, Sanitary collection system maintenance.

Brian Wooley
Laborer II
Responsibility: Customer service, Distribution system maintenance, Sanitary collection system maintenance, Electrical repair Water & Sewer, Building maintenance, and heavy Equipment operator.

Don Bourne
Meter Reader
Responsibility: Meter reading, Customer service, being cross-trained in Water distribution maintenance, Sanitary collection line maintenance, Equipment operation.

Street Department
The Street Crew is also cross-trained in water distribution maintenance.
