Fourth of July Activities (July 3)

The Germantown Parks Board and Parks Oversight Committee have reserved Veterans Memorial Park on July 3rd for a community celebration of the founding of our great country.
Scheduled activities begin with a parade from Kercher Park at 11:30 a.m. to Veterans Memorial Park. If you are interested in participating in the parade please contact Annie Sizemore at 776-5852 or 877-7255 or Ben DeGroat at 604-1364.
Park activities, beginning at Noon, include:
- Lunch Stand – sandwiches and soft drinks by the Germantown Fire Association
- Free swimming, games and prizes at the Germantown Aquatic Center

Boards and Commissions
Boards and commissions meet regularly and are comprised of citizens volunteers and council members. Vacancies are filled on an as needed basis. Individuals who serve the Village in this capacity find the experience to be both challenging and rewarding.
